President Donald Trump has reignited the fires of passion in his speech addressing the 72nd United Nations Assembly. While those on the Left will be targeting his rhetoric, the fact is that this was the speech we have all been waiting for.
Any doubts that the president is determined to finally remove the major problems facing the free world have been removed.
When talking about Iran, he said:
“… it is far past time for the nations of the world to confront another reckless regime, one that speaks openly of mass murder, vowing death to America, destruction to Israel, and ruin for many leaders and nations in this room”
“The Iran deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it.”
But his ire was not reserved for only the Iranian regime and its enforcement of poverty. He took aim at those within the United Nations who target their own citizens. He said;
“Rogue regimes represented in this body not only support terror but threaten other nations and their own people with the most destructive weapons known to humanity.”
This was a passionate and much needed speech. He talked about poverty, about forced immigration, and about the lack of opportunity being given to the poorer people of the world.
The key elements were: Sovereignty, Security, and Prosperity.
