Ever since President Trump was elected into office, Democratic leaders have made it their mission to target him, his family, and his administration. By the admission of the Huffington Post, Debbie Wasserman Schultz introduced an amendment to the House Appropriations Committee which would remove the security clearance of Jared Kushner, White House senior advisor. Thankfully, Republicans stepped up and voted against this politically motivated proposition.
Earlier today, Wasserman Schultz made the following statement:
“This amendment is an important step in protecting the American people from the threat of hostile foreign interference. That is not a controversial or a political goal. Revoking Jared Kushner’s security clearance would send a clear signal to anyone who would consider aiding and abetting a foreign enemy state to affect the outcome of a U.S. presidential election that they will not be entrusted with our nation’s most sensitive information.”

Republicans who voted in favor of Kushner’s security clearance slammed Wasserman Schultz’s unsuccessful attempt at revocation as “unnecessary and unproductive.”
The reality is this: Jared Kushner has not been convicted of any wrongdoing. Until he is, there is absolutely no reasons for him to lose his White House security clearance. This latest move by Wasserman Schultz is nothing more than a sad attempt to dismantle the Trump administration from within.
Rep. John Culberson from Texas made the following statement regarding Kushner and the Democrats’ fruitless attempt at sabotage:
“This is already the law. The use of funding prohibitions to deny or remove security clearances is simply a political stunt and utterly unnecessary because security clearances can already be revoked because of criminal conduct.”
Will the Left continue their attempts to dismantle the White House administration? Most likely. What will their next effort consist of? Only time will tell.
