A group of Antifa liberal protesters accidentally disrupted a protest against the Syrian war in Washington DC. Things got out of hand quickly, several secret service agents had to intervene multiple times. 2 Antifa protesters were detained according to uploaded video. Richard Spencer, a controversial “Alt right” speaker, was at the center of the controversy. You may remember he was punched in the face by Antifa protesters during an inauguration day interview:
Liberals hate the person, not the message
As soon as protesters found out Spencer was protesting in Washington DC, they began circulating notices via social media encouraging violence against him. No protester bothered to learn what Spencer was protesting. Spencer was protesting the Syrian war. You’d think that liberals would be for that, but no, all that mattered was someone they didn’t like was going to speak.
When Spencer tried to protest the Syrian war, he was immediately harassed by Antifa protesters. The Secret Service tried to keep the peace but eventually failed. When Spencer tried to leave the scene multiple protesters “glitter bombed” him and punched him in the face. Spencer jumped in a cab, however the cab driver became scared of the protesters and jumped out.
